Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnne Kymes was also among the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music scene and was a winner of local contests from the age of 10 old and recording her first album when she was fourteen years of age. The year 1987 was when she dropped her solo debut album after joining Rounder Records. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station with whom she performs.
