Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A superstar who crossed over completely from country music to pop culture, becoming a pop icon that will last forever and conquering every corner of the globe. Swift shed the country influences in the sense that they had been added as an extra layer of skin. She revealed that she was among the finest singers/songwriters from her generation. Swift could make the moment personal or harness the moment to benefit. This was evident in her early hits including the Neo-Tribute Tim McGraw but her second album 2008's Fearless showcased a songwriter discovering her true identity and, in doing so, gaining a mass audience. Fearless had a great success not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified songs. The Top Ten songs Love Story & I Belong with Me were the most important reasons. But, it also did well all over the world. Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago was a continuation of her earlier popularity and launched Swift into the spotlight. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017), the popularity of Swift grew, and she found herself in a world of pop music where it was clear that she belonged. It was not long before she altered her plan with 2020's pared-down siblings Folklore (and Evermore) and stayed in the forefront of pop culture.
