Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager when she was in her teens. Her family lived in Canyon Country with her three brothers and sisters in California. As a child, at four years of age, she began acting. She was an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her professional career. When she was 13, her first role in a feature film occurred. The role she played as Cisely an angry teenager in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered the attention of her peers. In recognition of this, she was awarded two awards which included her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good started with minor roles in film and television for a couple of years, and then moved into adult roles in the early 2000s. She played Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. From 1998 until 2001, she was a character on Nina in the Nickelodeon TV show Cousin Skeeter. In addition, she landed minor roles in the films House Party Down to the Last Minute and 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. The show featured her in D.E.B.S in 2004 an action-comedy movie that got the actress nominated as Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. After that, she starred in various films like Cookout Venom Waist deep and The Love Guru. As of 2012, she was doing work for T.V. In films, she was Mya In Think Like a Man with a cast of many stars as well as playing Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Killmer originates from Texas initially, went to Baylor University Waco Texas. From there she graduated with a bachelor's degree. degree in performance arts in 2010. In 2010 she started her acting career in the screen world with you Can Dream, a web series. Kara Killmer debuted on screen after appearing in a variety of local plays in Simon Fuller's television series If I Can Dream pilot in the year 2010.
