The singer gained fame internationally when she was cast in the role of Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican telenovela Rebelde and was a part of the Latin Grammy-nominated music group RBD. Anahi recorded more than three million albums over her own solo work. Anahi's professional career started in 1985 when she was just two years old. It was in a Mexican program on television named Chiquilladas. Anahi was born on May 14th, 1983, in Mexico City to an Mexican mother Marichelo Portilla and a Spanish father Enrique Puente. Her older sister is television personality Marichelo Puente (born 1978) as well as an older half-sister Diana Puente from her father's earlier marriage.
