Charissa Thompson

Thompson was a former FOX Sports host who left FOX Sports to join Yahoo Sports in 2010, as well as hosted Versus Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio, and also produced Web-based videos for Yahoo's popular platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence at high-profile sports events like The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. She was a successful host across both of these areas. This resulted in her joining ESPN in August 2011. In this role she hosted the recently created program in the afternoon called "Numbers Never Lie" which was a show on the network. In July 2012, she transitioned to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a success that continued until it was cancelled by the network. be back in Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. As a sports lover at heart, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of TV. In June of 2014, following numerous part-time assignments Thompson was made a permanent co-host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra".
